Hansen VTF Labs was co-founded in early 2001 by Chuck Hansen and David Hansen Sr., owners of Hansen Auto Body & Paint. With a combined experience of seventy years in the automobile body repair business, the brothers are uniquely qualified to assist the aftermarket manufacturing community with expertise and analysis from the front lines of the collision industry. From the beginning Hansen VTF Labs was able to offer much more to the manufacturers than any previous test fit center, due to the overall understanding of the role that aftermarket parts play in the repair industry.

During 2001 Hansen VTF Labs began offering preproduction services including; assistance in research and development, and the creation of both jigs and molds, in order to ensure the production of the highest quality parts possible. Certified vehicle tests fits were added to the Hansen VTF service profile in late 2001 and continues to this day. Hansen VTF Labs has also placed a strong emphasis on creating an atmosphere of honesty and creativity to provide a collaborative environment in which both manufacturers, engineers, and repair industry experts could come together in order to create the finest products.

Hansen VTF achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2006. Hansen VTF employees are I-CAR certified auto body technicians.

The lab provides an environment which provides a real world view for all of the aftermarket producers, conducting tests in a real shop environment.

Hansen VTF Labs continues to improve systems and add innovation to the already active and lively setting in which manufacturers and engineers find themselves. Our goal is to provide an exceptional environment where manufacturers can research, design and produce the highest quality automobile service parts attainable.
